Congratulations Zeta Chapter! Posted on May 20, 2012 The National Executive is proud to announce our newest chapter, located at West Virginia University. West Virginia University was designated as Zeta Chapter on May 20, 2012 during the White Water Rafting Trip in Oak Hill, West Virginia. As a colony, Zeta quickly became an active part of the local scouting community. Zeta has helped with Merit Badge University run by the local council; the colony helped in the running by teaching badges and keeping track of the Cub Scouts. Zeta colony hosted Convocation during the spring of 2011. West Virginia University is home to nearly 30,000 students, approximately 77% of which are undergraduates, 17% are graduates, and 6% are professional students. WVU ranks nationally for prestigious scholarships including 24 Rhodes Scholars, 22 Truman Scholars, and 33 Goldwater Scholars, and is classified as a research university with “High Research Activity” by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. Epsilon Tau Pi will be an excellent addition to West Virginia University.
